Doris has been in the medical profession for over 53 years. She started her career as a nurse with the State of Maryland working at multiple facilities for patients with special needs. Being diversified in both people and patient skills, it became clear that her talents were needed. She met an ophthalmologist who needed a person with such qualities to help his practice grow both surgically and fundamentally.
Doris is a key factor to the success of Ellicott City Eye Care's office, assisting everyone from filling out forms to dispensing eyewear. Doris' familiar voice and her vast experience is comforting to those patients with serious concerns.
Lisa and Doris provide every kind of service, including but not limited to repairs, emergency care, contact lenses, personal delivery and attention, etc.
Lisa has been in the optical business for over 26 years. She is a graduate of the Institute of Notre Dame Been a volunteer for Johns Hopkins, she was inspired to go into the medical profession, but more importantly she wanted to help PATIENTS.
She started as a receptionist and excelled to her position as optician/manager; and, over time she became the district manger for up-coming opticals on the East coast.
She has worked in medical centers, nursing homes and hospitals, but finally found her personal preference in family practice. Not neglecting the prior, she is still certified to work in the the above facilities when needed. Her experience, from pediatric to geriatric, has only increased her love for taking care of these patients.
She is the current optician, manager, buyer, and is responsible for maintenance of Ellicott City Eye Care.
